Will The Real You Stand Up?

A new series, published in the Wellness section of the Coeur d’Alene Press, had as its main focus answering some of life’s annoying perplexities. Questions were responded by columnist, Holistic Counselor and REIKI Master Teacher, Jan White, LFIBA,RMT,D.D. Jan specializes in issues of anxiety, trauma, depression, relationships, loss, unresolved core issues, mastering Life’s Changes, transitions, and healing chronic/traumatic illness.

Dear Jan:

My life has always been being “one of the crowd”. It was a comfortable life… but now everything seems to be in chaos. How do I handle this?
Signed: Out of Control

Dear Out of Control:

There are times when, I am sure, we wish to run away from Change, from the upheaval and the stress that it may cause us to endure.

But the biggest challenge in our life is in discovering and honoring Who We Really Are in a world whose persistence is to make you like everyone else. And it is through the means of Change that our beliefs and unresolved emotional issues are challenged, reviewed and chosen for their appropriateness.

Our journey is a “remembering” that we need to Be and act from who we know we are and not dependent on someone else’s conception. Do we dare take the risk of honoring that?

Your beliefs represent the inner core of who, what, and where you really are. This is what you stand for, strive to become, and acknowledge as what you are. This is the union of the personality (little you) and your Higher Self (large YOU). The time(s) that you go against your conscience/beliefs you experience an agitation of inner turmoil.

Change, or what may appear as chaos, enters into your life when you no longer demonstrate Who You Really Are or are going in a direction away from Who You Always Desired To Be. The pressure to be in alignment with what you know to be your core beliefs now becomes the dominant focus in each of your life experiences and relationships. When you no longer reflect the real you, when your actions do not represent the true who, what, and where of you, then the intensity surfaces in your life to correct that picture.

A Contract of Individuality may be used to define and assist in maintaining the target for what priorities, goals and intentions you wish to accomplish, and secondly, as a commitment of your standards of integrity. In the business world this is referred to as a Mission Statement.

It is said that you cannot reach a target unless you have a target. Once this is identified, then your life becomes easier and more controllable to make the necessary day to day and long term decisions, as the basis of all of your decisions is outlined in the Contract.

The second purpose, that of making a commitment to acknowledge your Standards of Integrity, is as critical to a successful existence as the target. Your integrity represents the inner core, the essence of who, what, and where you really are..

The Contract must be in writing — making it a tangible and sincere commitment with your Self and establishing the partnership between your Self and your Higher Self.

The following questions are usually answered within this Contract, although you may also use a special poem, credo, or passage that represents “what you are all about”:

1. A brief description, term, or word of who you are,
2. A vision of what you want to become,
3. The philosophies and values that are important to you,
4. Your goals and purpose in life, and
5. What distinguishes you from others.

This ongoing journey into our spiritual evolution focuses on honoring, acknowledging, and reinventing Who We Really Are. Only when we can Love ourself, unconditionally, can we ever expect to accept and respect the feelings of others.

Stellar Perspectives from Hungary

by Dr. Beatrix Czeizel & Anikó Greskó beatrixczeizel_anikogresko__2_

In the past decade especially there has been so much talk about “the Ascension”. Those who think about these things may have a very definite feeling about what that means or they may wonder what the concept actually means.

We can share with you what “the Ascension” means to us from the perspective of the Stellar Nations. First we must say that we speak of Christ in this explanation and we realize that unfortunately the human mind and spirit, so trammeled by religious dogma, often shuts off or narrows down with the mention of “Christ”. So let us qualify that this reference to Christ is made in the purest original sense of the mission and gifts of that soul and the teachings that show us that the qualities of the heart that, if assimilated, allow for a higher expression of life.

The Heavenly Temple of Christ resides in the shelter of the constellation Crux, also known as the Southern Cross. These four wonderful stars reflect the foundational principles of Creation: Divine Love, Divine Law, Divine Mercy and Divine Will. These rays are projected into the area of our physical heart; the stars representing the macrocosm with our heart being the corresponding microcosmic reflection.

Let us walk through the stellar pillars to understand this more deeply. The projection of Acrux, with the ray of Divine Love, is located on the top point of our heart. Becrux, with the ray of Divine Law is projected onto the left side of our heart. Gacrux with the ray of Divine Mercy is placed on the lower point of our heart and the stellar point of Delta Crucis which shines the ray of Divine Will is placed on the right side of our heart.

In our understanding it is this link between our human heart and this stellar temple that creates the “Ascension Bridge”. If you think about it, as the human heart attunes itself to these Divine principles it reaches up in its aspiration to follow Divine direction over man made constructs. At the same time, the rays of these stellar worlds reach down and join that heart. A wonderful path of light is formed, offering a road to walk towards a higher expression of individual and collective life. We are called on in this galactic age to reweave the blanket of light between our human heart our cosmic heart, to become a bigger body of expression and awareness.

We share an invocation ritual, gestures and words, that you can do and say to build this bridge:

Open your arms towards the sky with palms upward.

I invoke the light of the Almighty God and Goddess within me!

Touch the point of Acrux (top of heart) with your right hand.

I live in Your Love.

Touch the point of Becrux (left side of heart) with your right hand.

I surrender myself unto Your Law.

Touch the point of Gacrux (bottom of heart) with your right hand.

I offer my past, present and future to Your Mercy.

Touch the point of Delta Crucis (right side of heart) with your right hand.

And I follow the footprints of Your Will in the completion of my Divine Destiny.

Lay your right palm onto your heart.

I am that I am.

Lay your left palm over your right hand on your chest.

I raise my life into the Light.

Taking your left hand off your heart, open it to the world.

I share my heart.

Then take your right hand off, also opening it to the world.

I radiate my peace.

And finally, join your hands together, saying:

May I be blessed on my way.

Elemental Grief

dp_profileby Diana Pepper of Tree Frog Farm

I recently taught the 3rd class of the Flower Essence Practitioner Training Course. The class focused primarily on the Chinese Five Element understanding of health as expressed through the organ meridians and related systems. Fall is related to the Metal element and grief. Lung is the yin of the Metal element while Large Intestine is the Yang. One of the more fascinating organ systems is Triple Burner of the Fire Element. It works primarily through the endocrine system and regulates all of the other organs. There is interplay between all of the elements. Fire suppresses or controls metal. That means it overcomes or weakens it. Physically, overactive fire can cause symptoms like a cough in the lungs or constipation in the large intestine. When fire reacts to change, it’s usual emotion of joy can morph into grief. So if your endocrine system is out of balance, don’t be surprised if a challenging change brings up grief. Metal controls the Wood Element and the Liver and Gallbladder organs, whose emotion is anger. So if you are experiencing grief, don’t be surprised if anger arises. All of these emotions can be shifted to a higher level of functioning by changing your emotional metabolism.

Five Elements

The Triple Burner, Lung, Large Intestine, Liver and Gallbaldder Organ Energy Meridian Blends are available at Wise Awakening in the Tree Frog Farm display. Blessed was I to have experienced nine sun filled days in the southern California desert recently! Yes, nine! I practiced Barbara Hand Clow and Gerry Clow’s ‘Alchemy of Nine Dimensions’, focusing on a particular dimension each day. On my last day prior to leaving for the airport, I was meditating on the 9th dimension. I was sitting in full sun with a lovely light breeze caressing me softly. I was totally filled with gratitude, deep peace and love. I tuned into my body and noticed that I felt wonderful and happy! I was totally ‘blissed out’!

Like most of us over the past several months, I have had a lot of busy-ness, challenges, and angst about the future. In my bliss state, and from this nine dimensional reality, I had a profound realization . . . It occurred to me that all of my productive and successful creative juices spring from this special place. It is almost like a ‘dream state’. We can create anything wonderful from this state of being! We envision beauty, harmony, joy, peace and even bliss. In this world there are no borders or wars or tears or fears. It is what David Ison calls ‘Unification’.

I am so grateful for the revelation! Sometimes we get so caught up in this frantic fabricated reality that we forget the great power for which we are blessed . . . we can Dream Life Awake!

Always with Love! . . . Diana

Happy Birthday to our Great Friend and colleague, Laura Abernathy,
our Son, Caine and our sweet Grandson, Zak

Meraki Moments

by David Ison-david45323 (1)

This story is true:
Falling…falling…falling…tumbling into a deep state of anxiety and mental confusion. My mind was a jumble of fragments, there was no center….scary for sure. All of a sudden the Essential Self said: “You must meditate. Please simply sit and do your practice.” And so I did…here’s what happened:

Sitting…I experienced the chaos of my natural wandering, agitated mind. Settling in, I simply observed and slowly all the pieces of my mind came into view and began to take shape.

Interesting…Continuing to simply observe, I found myself “seeing” a pattern, a form, a structure. Slowly this pattern began to coalesce. Disparate aspects of my life, my work and my practice all came together, forming a whole and suddenly I understood something profound:

I realized I was ORGANIZING MY MIND.

This understanding was a powerful realization. Gone was the notion of working toward self-awareness, of enlightenment…of achieving or getting anything. Through the practice, all of those intentions had transformed into a simple process of observing the motions and all of the aspects of my mind. By simply allowing those endlessly disparate elements to come together, something had shifted.

Amazing… I sat with this for a few more moments and then came slowly out of the meditation. I felt calm, refreshed and relaxed. The burdens of anxiety and the mental, emotional chaos that threatened to bring me down, down, down were transformed into a state of subtle mental clarity and organization.

And so: Filled with the peaceful calm of an organized mind, I quietly, gently, happily stepped into the stream of the ever unfolding universe and the day was filled with resolution and the joy of completing tasks effortlessly, without anger, doubt or fear clouding my mind and my choices.

All through my choice to meditate…to organize my mind.
Meraki Meditation… You can do it too.

Deep Peace and Meraki to all…David Ison
